To See Ourselves is an unexpected, deeply personal account of the referendum as seen through the eyes of a pregnant filmmaker, as she follows her idealist father’s relentless activism and reveals the heart behind the politics during this historic crossroads for Scotland.
Affectionate without being sentimental, To See Ourselves creates not just a valuable time capsule of a pivotal moment in Scotland’s history, but a film which encourages empathy, self-reflection and open and constructive dialogue about the future.

'Mind Full' by Lewis Teckkam is a new short play in which characters, who represent four of the facets of the author's mind, muse on "the meaning of life - not life in general - but my life."

Hermione Byron Low and Flora Leask Arizpe
Flora Leask Arizpe is a Mexican-Scottish writer from Glasgow. Her pamphlet ‘Visions’ was released in 2022 with Bottlecap press, and her riso-graph pamphlet ‘Flower-Star’ was printed with Typewronger books in 2023.
Hermione Byron is a poet and zine-maker based in Leith. She regularly reads at open-mic poetry events in Edinburgh and has previously read at The Scottish Poetry Library and Traquair Literature and Arts festival. She is interested in writing about nature and culture, and how the two intersect and diverge. Her writing has been included in a forth-coming photography book by Luca Bailey, and she has been published in Outcrop and Scaef magazine.

The Rejects
Shark Bait Theatre
A new play about competition, being a slave to capitalism, and the inconvenient human instinct to crumble at rejection.
Five strangers, who mistakenly think they’re well adjusted, go for a pint after being interviewed for the same lousy job. As the night progresses, the beers and response-emails roll in and one by one the group are rejected. Each discovers that they may not be able to handle rejection quite as well as they originally thought. We see their ability to put on a brave face around their competition diminish with each round of beers. Follow these five strangers on a journey of bonding over the shared trauma of rejection.

'Jedburgh based singer songwriter, Bob Strachan believes that music is designed for our soul, not just our ears. He appreciates the power of song to heal, encourage, and take us away on a special emotional musical journey. He is a multi genre performer and composer, producing music for film and tv with his trusty co-writers.
Bob has performed all over Europe and North America, and has featured on the Voice UK and Britain’s Got Talent. His latest project (Jed Live) is establishing more live music and events in Jedburgh to boost morale and encourage more performers to come perform in the town hall.'
