DunsPlayFest Family Day

Each Year we are privileged to offer a FREE Family Day at Duns Castle on May Bank Holiday Monday. This day offers families the opportunity to get involved in theatre workshops, to watch family friendly theatre from professional childrens' entertainers and enjoy circus performances from Rowanbank Environmental Arts, whilst enjoying the beauty of Duns Castle. We also showcase work by young writers and performers of Borders Youth Theatre, offer free face painting and many other opportunities for fun with the family! It really is a festival in its own right! This day has become a popular cornerstone of our festival and we look forward to welcoming you in 2026...
